Journey to the land of High Jewelry

Voyage au pays de la Haute Joaillerie

To give us a little exoticism, the big brands invite us to discover their latest High Jewelry collections.

Wings of light by Piaget In the heart of the tropical forest, the house of Piaget unveils its birds with magical plumage. One of his masterpieces, the Majestic Plumage necklace combines marquetry of feathers and multicolored stones. Tourmalines from Paraiba, sapphires from Sri Lanka, emeralds from Madagascar, rubies from Mozambique… so many colors and stones that make us dream. The feather marquetry is made by Nelly Saunier who perfectly masters her art. Another piece of great flight: the wooden handle, the straw, the parchment and the mother-of-pearl marquetry, made by Rose Saneuil, who innovates each season with dazzling cuffs. This clear rainbow fist lives up to its name, fading like a sunset the bright colors of a 22.88 carat Mozambican rubella and that parchment cut like flamboyant feathers. The house of Piaget is an old master of the art of fists and its secret Exquise Moment watch confirms it with its two fancy bright yellow diamonds of 5.15 and 5.20 carats, finishing a plumage of 491 marquise cut diamonds.

A collection of High Flight in all simplicity.

De Beers Reflections of Nature Africa is the historic birthplace of De Beers diamonds. For its Reflection of Nature Haute Joaillerie collection, the brand wanted to pay homage to it by creating a parallelism with the various breathtaking landscapes. The house invites us to the heart of the Motlatse Canyon in South Africa, evoking its vivid earth colors in a necklace, adorned with red diamonds, the rarest in the world, orange and yellow diamonds. The Namib Desert that meanders along the western coastal plains of Namibia is interpreted by a necklace of wonders of the Namib, with white and yellow diamonds. The necklace transcribes the fluidity of the desert sand with gold fringes, finished with briolettes of rough diamonds. The green hues of the Okavango Delta in Botswana are interpreted through an Okavango Grace necklace with a palette of green, pink or purple rough diamonds. Thanks to its brilliant creations, the house of Beers shows its incredible diversity of multicolored diamonds. A real invitation to travel to the heart of diamonds.

Chanel’s stop in Venice We return to Europe thanks to Chanel, which reinterprets the city of Venice through the look of its jewellery. For once, the Chanel house brings a playful note with its Ribbon Canotier ring which plays with the colors of the red and black lacquer, adorned with diamonds. A true technical feat, the Byzantine camellia evokes the mosaics of the island of Torcello. Crafted in mosaic, carnelian and fire opal form Gabrielle Chanel’s favorite flower and tsavorite garnets form the foliage. Venice, Gabrielle Chanel’s favorite city, enriched the imagination of the house like this sumptuous starry sky with the Astral Constellation decor, adorned with a mosaic of lapis lazuli and yellow sapphires.

A Haute Joaillerie collection that invites you to dream and that can be admired in the new Chanel window, at 15 rue de la Paix in Paris. Wishing to give the Place Vendôme boutique a makeover, thanks to the star architect Peter Marino, the Chanel house is opening an ephemeral boutique. While waiting for 2022 to discover this new environment, Chanel also exclusively offers five “Les Bijoux de Mademoiselle” rings that will quickly become cult.
